Check Out the New and Improved Sonic Trailer!

Sharing is caring!

Yesterday morning while everyone was breaking Disney+, Sonic debuted his new look to the world! And let’s just say, thank you Paramount for going back and getting it right! In case you don’t remember, Sonic fans everywhere were VERY disappointed when the Sonic trailer debuted and they were presented with this:

I get what you were going for Paramount! And everyone’s a critic! People are loving the live action remakes but don’t want these fictional characters to look TOO live. I mean those teeth….. too human. The old Sonic looks like he is in his prime puberty years. Finding himself. Before he hits his peak and starts to gain his older teen weight. LOL. The old Sonic just wasn’t it.

But oh, the power of the internet. The studio and SEGA went back to the drawing board and 6 months later, debuted a brand new Sonic trailer. Take a look at the new Sonic for yourself, I’ve been waiting almost a week for y’all to see him (since I got an early sneak peek!)

Thank the Almighty heavens! Haha

THIS is Sonic. His face is expressive. His teeth look way less human and dare I say it…. he’s freakin’ adorable! After seeing this new trailer I’m actually excited to see the movie. Also, the old Sonic trailer was almost completely wiped from my memory. It’s almost like we all had a bad dream, and woke up to the Sonic the world deserves. AND I absolutely love Jim Carrey so I loved seeing him as Dr. Robotnik. He’s the perfect villain addition to this movie.
